mikefsq Debian archive

Debian packages built from GitHub release assets.

Install

Install the signing key. Modern apt trusts a key through a keyring file rather than the removed apt-key command:

sudo curl -fsSLo /usr/share/keyrings/mikefsq-archive-keyring.gpg \
  https://mikefsq.github.io/apt/mikefsq-archive-keyring.gpg

Add the source, in the deb822 format Debian now prefers. This archive supports Debian Trixie only. Set Architectures to your machine's:

Choosing a build

Packages that bundle vendor binary SDKs live in non-free; everything in main is built from source that ships with the project. Where both exist, the non-free build carries a +nonfree version suffix, which sorts higher — so adding the component is enough to move onto it:

To go back, drop non-free from that line and install the main version explicitly with sudo apt install <package>/<suite>.

Verify

apt-cache policy <package>

The version table names the component each candidate came from. A version ending in +nonfree is the vendor-SDK build.

Upgrades and removal

The archive holds the current release only, so sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade is all that is needed. Older versions stay downloadable as release assets on the source repositories listed below. To remove the archive entirely:

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mikefsq.sources
sudo rm /usr/share/keyrings/mikefsq-archive-keyring.gpg
sudo apt update

Nothing is compiled here. Each project builds its own packages and attaches them to a GitHub release; this archive downloads those assets, indexes them, signs the result, and publishes it.
